
Nuno Miller (Portugal) has a 5-years Engineering Degree in Computers and Systems and an Executive MBA in General Management. He started his career as a Systems Engineer, working mostly on Information Technology and Security. For several years he worked as a consultant, at Deloitte, where he managed the Infrastructure and Systems Business Unit and where he joined mixed team projects with other business areas and units, as Change Management, Activity Based Costing or Balanced Score Card Implementation.
He joined Organtex in 2002 (at the time one of the biggest apparel trading European companies, achieving a turnover over 110 M€ in 2004), where he performed several top-management positions related to Information Systems, Business Unit Managing Director, Innovation Management, Strategic Planning and Execution and Business Excellence.
In 2007 he joined Parfois as IT/IS Director, being responsible for all the IT and IS both for new projects as well as the integration with all the franchisees all over the 30 countries where Parfois was present in a total of +200 stores. He was member of the Board of Directors.
He joined Farfetch in 2011, one of the top and fast-growing eCommerce companies on Luxury Fashion Products, that partners with over 300 boutiques from Europe, the United States and Brazil. As CIO, his mission was to lead the global technical team and product delivery – with 80 people doing software development and quality assurance, web design, scrum and project management, business intelligence, IT support and IT operations – as well as manage all corporate needs regarding Information Systems and Technology. During this time Farfetch increased sales by 6x, reaching USD 200M$ and number of workers by 3x.
Nuno is an expert on the ICT Sector, Fashion Retail and eCommerce, he has a deep experience on International Trading, as he has done business with Latin-American, European and Asian companies. He keeps an eye on Information Technology and Management Trends all over the world, mostly focused on People, Processes, Strategy and Marketing.
He’s target-oriented, demanding and pursuing high-level quality results, whilst creating a great working atmosphere and standing for teamwork and team results in spite of control and personal starring.
