Vincent Léaux (France) began his career in 1997 as a technician/system & network administrator within a service company. During those nine years of professional experience in the service industry, the diversity of its tasks and clients (LCI – La Chaîne Info, TF1, Banque de France, Institut National Audiovisuel, Bouygues, Saur , etc.) allowed him to grow steadily and to quickly access a managerial function to supervise outsourcing teams.
In 2005 he joined the CIO of the French Red Cross (18,000 employees , 70,000 volunteers) as Responsible for Infrastructure, Technical projects and Support. Sensitive to environmental issues, Vincent made the CIO of the French Red Cross aware to sustainable development and became responsible for the development of “sustainable development” component of the 2011-2015 Strategy of the French Red Cross.
In 2011 he became Head of the IT department of the City of Velizy-Villacoublay. The challenge: to transform and professionalize an IT department with four people in a management information systems (13 pers.) Processing has been carried out on several aspects: reorganization of teams, setting a blueprint, process reengineering , outsourcing certain functions, overhaul of infrastructure, renovation of application portfolio and delivery of new applications for financial business departments (Management, Citizen relationship management, Family management, etc.).
